Building Connections Beyond the Road

Infrastructure projects of this scale require strong partnerships, clear structuring and long-term responsibility. This is why Jebsen & Jessen Financial Solutions is proud to support the K2K Road project, a EUR110.5 million infrastructure project in northern Uganda.

The project will upgrade the approximately 115km route between Kitgum and Kidepo into a modern asphalt road. Once completed, it will improve regional connectivity, support economic development, strengthen transport routes for goods and enhance access to the Kidepo National Park.

Beyond financial structuring, Jebsen & Jessen Financial Solutions also supports the project with ESG monitoring and reporting during the construction phase and throughout the financing period. It reflects a commitment to responsible project support and sustainable impact on the ground.

The importance of the project was also reflected in the signing ceremony held on 30 June 2026 at the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (MOFPED) in Kampala.

In addition to representatives from MOFPED, the event was also attended by representatives from the Ministry of Construction and Transport, the British High Commission, UK Export Finance, Standard Chartered Bank Uganda and DOTT Services Ltd.

Jebsen & Jessen Financial Solutions was represented on site by Chief Financial Officer Ralf Schwarzhaupt during the ceremony.
