China Growth Spurt Continues
JJ-Lurgi has been appointed by Chinese state-owned group Sinograin to deliver mega plant

Oct 2017- JJ-Lurgi has won a contract from Sinograin, a Chinese state-owned group based in Beijing, to supply a 3,600-tonne-perday soybean extraction plant that is also capable of processing rapeseed. The plant will be located in Dongguan in Guangdong Province, and is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2019.
This mega project strengthens the company’s position in China as a reliable technology provider for oilseed extraction and refining.
For this project, in order to meet the ever-growing market demands in China, JJ-Lurgi has incorporated its latest Twin Tracks Extractor model, specially designed for large capacities, into the design of the plant. The plant will also feature a more efficient energy-saving system capable of reducing steam consumption by at least 20%. The project adds to JJ-Lurgi’s impressive track record of over 300 process plants in China and South East Asia, including the successful delivery of its largest winterisation plant to-date in China.
