Collective Step Forward in Sustainability
Earlier last year, Jebsen & Jessen announced the formation of a Group Sustainability Committee, bringing together representatives from seven Business Units across the globe. This marks an important step in aligning sustainability ambitions and establishing
a structured roadmap.
Since its formation, the committee has made strong and steady progress. A key milestone has been the identification of six materiality topics within a refined sustainability framework.
These topics now form the foundation of efforts across the Group spanning environmental, social and governance (ESG) areas. They include:
• Climate change and energy
• Occupational health and safety
• Talent attraction and retention
• Governance, ethics and compliance
• Product safety
For each of these areas, the committee has developed clear targets and KPIs to guide actions and measure performance. Alongside this work is the procurement for a Group-wide ESG platform. This will streamline efforts to organise, record and monitor ESG data across the materiality topics consistently. Implementing the platform then allows the resumption of Group-wide sustainability reporting from 2026.
In conjunction with established programmes such as “Meet a Need” for corporate volunteerism, the progress in sustainability management is a step in the right direction toward a more robust growth across the Group.
