Growing Talent, Celebrating Excellence

At Jebsen & Jessen Hamburg Group, excellence has long been part of the company’s DNA — and this year, that spirit shines brightly through one of its youngest talents.

Former apprentice Ellen Hofmann has been honoured with the “Azubi des Nordens 2025” (Apprentice of the North) award, one of northern Germany’s most respected recognitions for outstanding vocational achievement.

Now in its 28th year, the competition is organised by the AGA Unternehmensverband and INW Bildungswerk Nord to celebrate exceptional young professionals. Ellen impressed the jury with her commitment, top results and exceptional performance in the field of foreign trade.

At the award ceremony held at XPERION Hamburg, she was celebrated as one of the region’s brightest rising stars. Along with prize money and an education voucher, she was also featured in a short film that captured her journey and dedication throughout her apprenticeship at Jebsen & Jessen Hamburg Group.

Her success underscores the power of high-quality vocational training in shaping the next generation of skilled professionals. The company proudly congratulates Ellen on this well-deserved recognition and looks forward to seeing her continue to grow in her new role as an accountant.
