Hong Kong, Over Time

Jebsen Group recently participated as a sponsor at the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce International Business Summit 2025, held under the theme Global Cities: Thriving in the Age of Geo-Economics.

At the summit, Immanuel Jebsen, Director of Business Development at Jebsen Group, delivered a keynote address reflecting on Hong Kong’s role as a global city and the factors that continue to underpin its competitiveness. He also highlighted Jebsen Group’s deep-rooted ties to the city, which has remained its base of operations for more than five generations.

In his remarks, he highlighted Hong Kong’s openness, diversity and strategic position, describing these qualities as central to its ability to adapt and remain relevant amid shifting global economic conditions. He pointed to the city’s resilience and capacity for reinvention as enduring strengths in an increasingly complex international landscape.

The summit brought together business leaders from Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland and other global markets, creating a forum for discussion around the future of global cities and cross-border collaboration.

For Jebsen Group, participation in the event reflected its ongoing engagement with the local business community and its continued confidence in Hong Kong’s role as an international hub for trade and enterprise.
