New Leaders Update
We are pleased to share a series of leadership updates across the Jebsen & Jessen Group.
First, Karl Tilkorn has been appointed CEO of the Group’s new Material Handling business unit. Karl previously led the MHE-Demag joint venture and when this was divested in 2019, he followed the business to Konecranes. He then rejoined Jebsen & Jessen in 2023 and has since his return, rebuilt the MHE business which includes the acquisition and integration of IPD from Konecranes and the Australian acquisitions Safetech and EMS.
In Thailand, Prapan Wongchavalit as new General Manager of MHE Thailand will be accountable for the overall business and performance of the team, leading all operational matters while driving operational excellence, efficiency and sustainable profitability.
We are also happy to announce that Martin Overgaard, in addition to being CEO of JJ-Lurgi, is joining the GMA advisory board, adding vital competencies and bench strength to the leadership of GMA. Cameron Sargeant has also been appointed to the Executive Committee of GMA and will assume the role of General Manager People and Sustainability.
Elsewhere, we warmly welcome Phoa Leng Hwa as the new General Manager Operations of Jebsen & Jessen Packaging Johor Bahru, Malaysia alongside his ongoing roles as General Manager of Jebsen & Jessen Packaging Singapore and business activity lead for the Integrated Packaging Division across the two countries.
Following five successful years leading our Vietnam operations, Supaporn Monprasit has returned to Thailand to take on the newly created role of General Manager – Sales, Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients Thailand. With more than two decades of experience, she brings deep commercial expertise and market insight into this role.
Meanwhile, Viet Thinh Nguyen has assumed the role of General Manager, Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients Vietnam. Having been part of the Jebsen & Jessen Group since 2012, Thinh brings over 25 years of industry experience and a strong track record in operational management and business growth.
