JJ-Lurgi greets Brazil with its first refinery project in the country
deliver the project on time and on budget.
Nov 2018- JJ-Lurgi has secured its first project in Brazil! In November 2018, we signed a contract to deliver a 300TPD Bleaching and Deodorising Plant to Belem Bioenergia Brasil. The customer is a 50:50 joint venture between Petrobras, a semi-public Brazilian multinational corporation in the petroleum industry, and Galp Energia from Portugal.
This project is another successful collaboration between JJ-Lurgi and Air Liquide. With Air Liquide’s global network and our proven edible oil technology, we are confident of growing our presence in Brazil and South America. The palm oil refinery project is expected to be delivered to the customer’s site in the state of Para by the third quarter of 2019.
