Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC), Sime Darby Property Berhad’s flagship leisure asset, has formalised a strategic partnership with Jebsen & Jessen Technology through a Partners in Excellence Agreement.

The five-year collaboration reflects KLGCC’s ongoing focus on maintaining its 36-hole layout through technologies designed to balance performance with sustainability. Widely regarded as one of Southeast Asia’s most prestigious golfing and lifestyle destinations, KLGCC has built its reputation on consistency, precision and attention to detail that extends beyond course presentation.

Under the agreement, Jebsen & Jessen Technology will support a phased upgrading programme introducing modern Toro turf equipment alongside advanced irrigation systems. Data-led tools such as moisture mapping and precision water management will be integrated to improve efficiency while maintaining high playing standards across both the East and West Courses.

The partnership brings together KLGCC’s operational ambition and Jebsen & Jessen Technology’s regional experience in turf and irrigation solutions. For a club that has hosted more than 24 professional tournaments, the emphasis is on delivering reliable conditions day after day while reducing resource intensity over the long term.

Beyond equipment deployment, training initiatives and access to evolving technologies form part of a broader approach to course management that prioritises resilience and responsible stewardship.

As golf courses across the region face rising expectations from players and regulators alike, the agreement signals how established venues are quietly rethinking infrastructure to support both performance and sustainability well into the future.
